Leetcode - spiral-matrix

https://leetcode.com/problems/spiral-matrix/

Given a matrix of m x n elements (m rows, n columns), return all elements of the matrix in spiral order.

Example 1:

Input:
[
 [ 1, 2, 3 ],
 [ 4, 5, 6 ],
 [ 7, 8, 9 ]
]
Output: [1,2,3,6,9,8,7,4,5]

Leetcode - Two Sum II - Input array is sorted

Given an array of integers that is already sorted in ascending order, find two numbers such that they add up to a specific target number.

The function twoSum should return indices of the two numbers such that they add up to the target, where index1 must be less than index2.

Note:

  • Your returned answers (both index1 and index2) are not zero-based.
  • You may assume that each input would have exactly one solution and you may not use the same element twice.

Example:

Input: numbers = [2,7,11,15], target = 9
Output: [1,2]
Explanation: The sum of 2 and 7 is 9. Therefore index1 = 1, index2 = 2.

Leetcode - Search a 2D Matrix II

https://leetcode.com/problems/search-a-2d-matrix-ii/

Write an efficient algorithm that searches for a value in an m x n matrix. This matrix has the following properties:

  • Integers in each row are sorted in ascending from left to right.
  • Integers in each column are sorted in ascending from top to bottom.

Example:

Consider the following matrix:

[
  [1,   4,  7, 11, 15],
  [2,   5,  8, 12, 19],
  [3,   6,  9, 16, 22],
  [10, 13, 14, 17, 24],
  [18, 21, 23, 26, 30]
]

Given target = 5, return true.

Given target = 20, return false.

Leetcode - 01-matrix

https://leetcode.com/problems/01-matrix/

Given a matrix consists of 0 and 1, find the distance of the nearest 0 for each cell.

The distance between two adjacent cells is 1.

Example 1:

Input:
[[0,0,0],
 [0,1,0],
 [0,0,0]]

Output:
[[0,0,0],
 [0,1,0],
 [0,0,0]]

Leetcode - number-of-islands

Given a 2d grid map of '1's (land) and '0's (water), count the number of islands. An island is surrounded by water and is formed by connecting adjacent lands horizontally or vertically. You may assume all four edges of the grid are all surrounded by water.

Example 1:

Input:
11110
11010
11000
00000

Output: 1

Example 2:

Input:
11000
11000
00100
00011

Leetcode - search-suggestions-system

https://leetcode.com/problems/search-suggestions-system/

Given an array of strings products and a string searchWord. We want to design a system that suggests at most three product names from products after each character of searchWord is typed. Suggested products should have common prefix with the searchWord. If there are more than three products with a common prefix return the three lexicographically minimums products.

Return list of lists of the suggested products after each character of searchWord is typed.

Input: products = ["bags","baggage","banner","box","cloths"], searchWord = "bags"
Output: [["baggage","bags","banner"],["baggage","bags","banner"],["baggage","bags"],["bags"]]

Heap - top buzz words

Given a list of nail polishes and some collected posted repo on Instagram, you need to find the top words.

nail polish = ["OPI", "ColorClub", "CirqueColor", "DanceLegend", "Masura"]

repo = [

"OPI Original Nail Envy is a nail strengthener with wheat protein",

"ColorClub is a spa brand that is loved for it's great value and bright colors",

"As a top choice for professionals ColorClub is often featured in Nails Magazine.",

"Create amazingly transformed, and unique, nails with DanceLegend spot-inducing blue top coat! DanceLegend Aquele importado top! "

"Um esmalte holográfico que vale a pena repetir vou reproduzir uma nail art do ano passado e por isso passei ele novamente ColorClub don’t harp on it"

"Booom diaaa! DanceLegend E voltando a programação normal do blog, temos um importadinho na área!"

]

Result: ["colorclub",  "dancelegend"]

Leetcode - rotting-oranges

https://leetcode.com/problems/rotting-oranges/

In a given grid, each cell can have one of three values:

  • the value 0 representing an empty cell;
  • the value 1 representing a fresh orange;
  • the value 2 representing a rotten orange.

Every minute, any fresh orange that is adjacent (4-directionally) to a rotten orange becomes rotten.

Return the minimum number of minutes that must elapse until no cell has a fresh orange.  If this is impossible, return -1 instead.

Leetcode - max-consecutive-ones

https://leetcode.com/problems/max-consecutive-ones/

Given a binary array, find the maximum number of consecutive 1s in this array.

Example 1:

Input: [1,1,0,1,1,1]
Output: 3
Explanation: The first two digits or the last three digits are consecutive 1s.
    The maximum number of consecutive 1s is 3.

Leetcode - subarray-sums-divisible-by-k

Given an array A of integers, return the number of (contiguous, non-empty) subarrays that have a sum divisible by K.

Example 1:

Input: A = [4,5,0,-2,-3,1], K = 5
Output: 7
Explanation: There are 7 subarrays with a sum divisible by K = 5:
[4, 5, 0, -2, -3, 1], [5], [5, 0], [5, 0, -2, -3], [0], [0, -2, -3], [-2, -3]

Note:

  1. 1 <= A.length <= 30000
  2. -10000 <= A[i] <= 10000
  3. 2 <= K <= 10000
