Leetcode - Perform String Shifts

You are given a string s containing lowercase English letters, and a matrix shift, where shift[i] = [direction, amount]:

  • direction can be 0 (for left shift) or 1 (for right shift).
  • amount is the amount by which string s is to be shifted.
  • A left shift by 1 means remove the first character of s and append it to the end.
  • Similarly, a right shift by 1 means remove the last character of s and add it to the beginning.

Return the final string after all operations.

Example 1:

Input: s = "abc", shift = [[0,1],[1,2]]
Output: "cab"
Explanation:
[0,1] means shift to left by 1. "abc" -> "bca"
[1,2] means shift to right by 2. "bca" -> "cab"

Leetcode - Min Stack

https://leetcode.com/problems/min-stack/

Design a stack that supports push, pop, top, and retrieving the minimum element in constant time.

  • push(x) -- Push element x onto stack.
  • pop() -- Removes the element on top of the stack.
  • top() -- Get the top element.
  • getMin() -- Retrieve the minimum element in the stack.

Example:

MinStack minStack = new MinStack();
minStack.push(-2);
minStack.push(0);
minStack.push(-3);
minStack.getMin();   --> Returns -3.
minStack.pop();
minStack.top();      --> Returns 0.
minStack.getMin();   --> Returns -2.

Leetcode - Maximum Length of Repeated Subarray

https://leetcode.com/problems/maximum-length-of-repeated-subarray/

Given two integer arrays A and B, return the maximum length of an subarray that appears in both arrays.

Example 1:

Input:
A: [1,2,3,2,1]
B: [3,2,1,4,7]
Output: 3
Explanation:
The repeated subarray with maximum length is [3, 2, 1].

Leetcode - Contiguous Array

https://leetcode.com/problems/contiguous-array/

Given a binary array, find the maximum length of a contiguous subarray with equal number of 0 and 1.

Example 1:

Input: [0,1]
Output: 2
Explanation: [0, 1] is the longest contiguous subarray with equal number of 0 and 1.

Leetcode - Minimum Size Subarray Sum

https://leetcode.com/problems/minimum-size-subarray-sum/

Given an array of n positive integers and a positive integer s, find the minimal length of a contiguous subarray of which the sum ≥ s. If there isn't one, return 0 instead.

Example:

Input: s = 7, nums = [2,3,1,2,4,3]
Output: 2
Explanation: the subarray [4,3] has the minimal length under the problem constraint.

Leetcode - Compare Strings by Frequency of the Smallest Character

https://leetcode.com/problems/compare-strings-by-frequency-of-the-smallest-character/

Let's define a function f(s) over a non-empty string s, which calculates the frequency of the smallest character in s. For example, if s = "dcce" then f(s) = 2 because the smallest character is "c" and its frequency is 2.

Now, given string arrays queries and words, return an integer array answer, where each answer[i] is the number of words such that f(queries[i]) < f(W), where W is a word in words.

Example 1:

Input: queries = ["cbd"], words = ["zaaaz"]
Output: [1]
Explanation: On the first query we have f("cbd") = 1, f("zaaaz") = 3 so f("cbd") < f("zaaaz").

Leetcode - Add to Array-Form of Integer

https://leetcode.com/problems/add-to-array-form-of-integer/

For a non-negative integer X, the array-form of X is an array of its digits in left to right order.  For example, if X = 1231, then the array form is [1,2,3,1].

Given the array-form A of a non-negative integer X, return the array-form of the integer X+K.

Example 1:

Input: A = [1,2,0,0], K = 34
Output: [1,2,3,4]
Explanation: 1200 + 34 = 1234

Leetcode - Best Sightseeing Pair

https://leetcode.com/problems/best-sightseeing-pair/

Given an array A of positive integers, A[i] represents the value of the i-th sightseeing spot, and two sightseeing spots i and j have distance j - i between them.

The score of a pair (i < j) of sightseeing spots is (A[i] + A[j] + i - j) : the sum of the values of the sightseeing spots, minus the distance between them.

Return the maximum score of a pair of sightseeing spots.

Example 1:

Input: [8,1,5,2,6]
Output: 11
Explanation: i = 0, j = 2, A[i] + A[j] + i - j = 8 + 5 + 0 - 2 = 11

Leetcode - Pascal's Triangle

https://leetcode.com/problems/pascals-triangle/

Given a non-negative integer numRows, generate the first numRows of Pascal's triangle.

In Pascal's triangle, each number is the sum of the two numbers directly above it.

Example:

Input: 5
Output:
[
     [1],
    [1,1],
   [1,2,1],
  [1,3,3,1],
 [1,4,6,4,1]
]

Leetcode - Pascal's Triangle II

Given a non-negative index k where k ≤ 33, return the kth index row of the Pascal's triangle.

Note that the row index starts from 0.

In Pascal's triangle, each number is the sum of the two numbers directly above it.
